As a Santa Monica-based interior designer and architect, Liza Savary was not willing to settle when it came to choosing the decor for her child’s nursery. Dismayed by the lack of safe and stylish play mats on the market (everything seemed to be made out of cheap foam that most toddlers could pull apart,) Liza decided to create Ruggish Play Rugs: One-piece play mats that offer the look of a rug and the feel of a play mat, while allowing you to swap out your expensive rug for a long lasting, aesthetically pleasing, protective product perfect for the whole family.
